Why a fan for sleep

Most fans were never designed for sleeping. They were built for a garage or a kitchen and dragged into the bedroom because nothing better existed. The airflow is choppy, the noise is whatever the motor happens to make, and in winter they gather dust.

Zephyr Duo started from the opposite end. We asked what a bedroom needs at night: steady air that reaches the bed, a natural hush that masks the street, and the ability to have either one without the other. That meant two fans, two controls, and a design that belongs on a nightstand.
